Home field advantages and wild card teams are determined during the regular playing year. Each conference has four divisions, and each division champion automatically moves on the Super Bowl. Wild Card teams are those who dropped just short of becoming among the best.
Following the season is over, and such choices are complete, the game begin. Wild card teams don’t have home field advantage, and perform against other non ranked teams. Division champions, on the other hand, do have home field advantage, and play teams ranked around their degree. Wild card groups, due to their standing and home field disadvantage, rarely make it to the Super Bowl. However, four wild card teams have made it to the Super Bowl, and won!
